Varoujan
Kassabian, President, CEO, Founder
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Varoujan immigrated
to the United States in 1977. Arriving in
San Francisco at the age of 24, Varoujan brought
with him only a suitcase and his extensive
knowledge of the construction industry. Having
worked as a heavy machinery operator for almost
ten years in several Middle Eastern counties,
Greece, and Libya, Varoujan, as many immigrants
at that time had done, came to the United
States to make his fortune.
Living in San Francisco, Varoujan immediately
found work as a tow truck driver, a heavy
machinery operator, and lastly, a semi truck
driver. A fast learner and street smart,
it didn't take Varoujan but a couple of
years before he started his own business
as an Owner-Operator. Nearly 10 years later,
after accumulating several years of industry
knowledge and experience, he established
Superb Transport.
Over the years Varoujan has gained extensive
hand-on knowledge of the transportation
industry and has integrated his own founding
values of professionalism, hard work, relentless
persistence, self-education, and his dedication
to customer service into the very fabric
of Superb Transport.
As President/CEO, Varoujan plays an active
role in overseeing all business operations.
When he's not working, you can find Varoujan
spending his free time with his family and
friends.
Satenig Kassabian,
CFO, Secretary
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Satenig
brings an extensive background in the financial
and banking industry. With over 20 years
in the banking and home loan industry and
serving as the Central California Regional
Vice President for Home Savings of America,
Satenig has provided Superb Transport with
a solid foundation in finance, organizational
management, and general accounting practices.
As CFO, Satenig plays an active role in
overseeing all financial operations. When
she's not working, you can find Satenig
spending time with her family and donating
her time at church and community organizations.
